Doctoral Education Projects Print Email this page

EUA-CDE is currently involved in two projects on doctoral education:

1) Accountable Research Environments for Doctoral Education (ARDE): will look at how quality is assured and enhanced in European doctoral programmes by gathering information on existing structures, good practice and areas of concern. The project is a partnership with University College Cork, Universities Austria (UNIKO) and the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP).

2) Cooperation on Doctoral Education between Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe (CODOC): examines doctoral education through the lens of  a more balanced development in global knowledge and the  role that Europe has to play in this. The project is a partnership with the University of Bonn, the Observatory on EU – Latin America Relations (OBREAL), the Karolinska Institutet (KI), the Southern Africa Regional Association for Higher Education (SARUA), the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (OUI-IOHE) and the ASEAN University Network (AUN).
